Mission Peak

We hiked Mission Peak a few weeks back.

Jackson was a total champ.

Do you like my sweat spot from carrying a Camelback?
Good thing we started at 6am or the entire shirt would have been soaked!

Aqua Adventure

Debbie and I took these cuties to the water park one day.

We played well past closing time and loved every extra minute!

July happenings

July was busy with nonsense. I'd love to report amazing things that happened but I don't want to lie. We just hung out, got settled in the condo, and had a grand ol' time!
Jackson loves to throw all the diapers out of his box.
Mildly annoying, totally cute.

Watermelon is for sure his favorite food.

I've never had a less helpful helper.
This is the only way I can make it through the stores.

We loved playing at the park with friends.

I hated cooking dinner and tried to go out as much as possible.
Jackson is learning to color.

An after dinner walk (so cute)!

Always willing to help me measure.

Someone (Grandma) let him have control of the ice cream dish.

Wouldn't he make the cutest little girl?

San Francisco Children's Creativity Museum

We went to the Children's Creativity Museum this summer and it was really fun!
We met my college friend and sister there and let our kids go wild.
Jackson and Lizzie loved the stairs.

Rush got a kick out of these little balls that stick together.

Cute Lizzie.

Jackson feels like it's important to say hello by sitting on people.

Poor Logan.

Babies being babies.

Rush the knight.

And yes, Jackson prefers to sit on Lego tables.

Rush found a great napping place.

Yet again, on top of the table...

Mammoth Lakes cont.

Saturday morning we headed out to Devil's Postpile and Rainbow Falls.

Jackson napped on the way down so he could have plenty of energy for the hike.

Devil's Postpile

Jackson found a stick that was crucial to his happiness.

And that kid LOVES my water bottle.
I do not love him loving it...

Rainbow Falls

He even got his own seat on the bus ride back to our car!

After a too short afternoon nap we went back up to Twin Lakes and rented a rowboat.

Finally Jackson took his MUCH NEEDED nap.

Even I rowed!

Don't let the tears convince you otherwise.
He loved it.

Twin Lakes again

Yes he has no pants on. We were desperate to keep him happy at this point.

We called it an early night and watched a movie at the hotel after a long bath and bedtime.
I can't begin to tell you how much I loved Mammoth Lakes. It was so fun and much needed.

Happy Independence Day!!
