Jackson turned ONE year old!!!!!

On June 5 Jackson turned one year old.

(And like a perfect parent I immediately posted it...)

Scott was home this time for the pictures and amazed at how futile the endeavor is.

Thankfully long ago I gave up on getting the perfect shot.

We bought him a Nothing Bundt Cake and he wanted nothing to do with it.

We sat him outside at first and took a 4 minute video of trying to talk him into eating the cake. I gave up but Scott decided to move the party inside: same result. 

The only thing he'd do is hit it with the spoon.

You are adorable, spunky, perpetually begging for food, and really want to be outside.

You are a terrible sleeper but still really cute. You don't want food or a diaper change. You just want us to hold your hand and you can tell the second we stop.

You love walks and swimming. You say 'uh ho' and 'ma ma ma ma ma ma ma' and 'da da da da da da da'. We're not sure if those count as words yet since you say them over and over again.

Lee Family Photos

I wrote about going to Park City in the beginning of May and taking family photos.

Well, here they are and we love them!

but didn't find that out until after the photos were taken.

Just the usual

Scott took Jackson on a hike last month.

They each got to do what they wanted: Scott hike, Jackson sleep.

Jackson is a huge helper.

My mom was painting a rooster and Jackson decided

the most helpful thing to do is step in the paint box.

I'm having a hard time getting him down for naps so sometimes my mom helps.

I think the nap is more for her than for him...

Swimming Lessons

(Sorry no posts last week. We don't have Internet at the condo yet and it's really 

hard to get blogspot working on your phone...)

This little fishy "passed" his first swimming class. 

Luckily they went easy on him...

Maker Faire 2014

In May we went to the Maker Faire, yet again.

Every year it's more awesome and more weird.

This may be my favorite exhibit ever: tapigami.

They made everything out of tape.

1000% more awesome in person.

His family is wonderful.

Strawberry Picking

We went strawberry picking the other week and Jackson was in heaven.

He just crawled down the rows and ate strawberries and dirt.

Lyla and Hank were the perfect picking companions.

I don't think he's ever been happier.
