Beach Day

It was super hot last week so I took Jackson to the beach with some friends.

He loved it.

Sand is so much fun.

Apples are still a little too hard for him to eat.

Three teeth are just not enough.

But that doesn't mean you shouldn't try...

Lee Family Vacation

We went to Utah at the beginning of May to visit the Lees,

Everyone came and we had a fabulous time.

Jackson had a tough time staying awake for all the fun.

But he totally nailed it at family pictures.

That boy loves an audience!

He's decided that strollers are for babies;

and he's not a baby.

Jackson and Teancum played so well together.

Teancum is going to be a big brother at the end of the year.

Yea for more cousins!

They both love to eat.

Jackson has a hard time getting food to his mouth sometimes.

He loved seeing Grandma.

And he slept the whole way home.

Haircut & Swimming

I finally had enough of Jackson's mullet and took him to the "salon".

He was a champ and didn't even fuss!

As usual, he charmed everyone.

Also last week we started swimming lessons.

The water is coldish and he doesn't follow directions

but otherwise we're having an awesome time!

This is what we do all day...

Because he's my first/only child I still take lots of pictures.

Listening at Institute.

Climbing into the dirt.

He doesn't need a cup to get a drink.

"Eating" spaghetti by himself.

Insisted on sitting on the scale while waiting for the doctor.

Spilled water all over himself so he wore my shirt.

Playing with the boys, wearing mardi gras beads.

Trying to stuff a wipe into his mouth.

Eating an apple.

Shutting the computer, again.

Lounging in the Costco cart.

No matter what I do he won't sit the correct way in these!

Condo Reno

We have been busily painting the condo lately.

My plan was to use these two colors in Jackson's room 

but it was uglier than I imagined.

So now the walls are white.

If you're ever painting an entire house, the spray gun is a MUST.

So much easier and faster.

We also got our kitchen cabinets delivered.

And in case you're unaware, they don't take them upstairs (or deliver when I schedule).

This is what Jackson did while we waited for help carrying them upstairs.

Easter

Easter was a packed day with cousins and family.

My sister's family came down from Santa Rosa and my aunt and uncle came from Concord.

Jackson did a great job crawling around for an egg.

Rushton and Hailey were much more excited to get as many eggs as possible.

It's rough being the baby.

Rushton had Grandma help count his finds.

Adults just taking in the scene.

And we finished off the celebrations with time in the swing!

Happy ELEVEN months!

 This little monkey is 11 months old now and as wiggly as ever.
