Afternoon at the Park

We spent Sunday afternoon in the park and it was lovely.

The weather is perfect here.

Jackson did a thorough eye exam for Scott.

No problems were found.

Big Bath!

After a few encouraging words from my friend I have decided to stop using the baby bathtub and let him play in the bathtub almost every night. (I didn't like giving baths before because it was boring and seemed lame.)

Can you tell that Jackson loves this decision?

Evenings are a lot better now that he spends about 30 minutes in the tub instead of me just trying to convince him that bedtime wasn't quite here yet.

I finally decided Jackson was big enough for his white church shirt and he looked so cute!

Scott had been in China for a week so we were both so happy to come home to him.

He brought Jackson a gift but Jackson mostly liked the bag it came in.

He has grown out of this cute tub.

Why I thought letting him feed himself smashed bananas was a good idea I'll never know.

In my defense: I was really tired that day and Scott wasn't about to argue with me.

Condo Reno

So we bought a condo and decided to do a bit of remodeling. I promise to post 

before/after pictures but until then here are the pictures of us working.

We tore out the kitchen on Scott's 30th birthday.

I feel like it made him feel more grown up.

However, we did it anyway and I'm glad for a foot more of cabinet space!

We both turned 30 this week and had epic parties:

Sunday Scott flew to China and Cecilie spoke in church.

It's tough growing up...

Happy NINE months!

This little monster is 9 months old now!

He's going and wiggling so much. 

We love everything about him.

He had a checkup on Friday and got rave reviews.

18lb 14oz (24 percentile)

head circumference: 47.8cm (99 percentile)

He has 2 teeth and eats like a champ.

Now if only he would sleep like a champ...

and he loves his duck and pacifier.

A quick day trip to Santa Rosa

We went with my mom last week to Santa Rosa.

Hailey is into dressing herself, hence the snow bib.

I had lots of help with Jackson.

And then Hailey chose this charming outfit.

She even put on her own shoes...

Oakland Zoo

Last weekend my nephew Rushton turned 5 so we went to the zoo to celebrate!

Jackson hadn't been there before and seemed to have an alright time between naps.
