This is Jackson's onesie after church.

It started out a crisp white and came home like this.

I cannot wait to have a washer and dryer!!!

Scott's friend Joe gave him a much needed haircut.

Had I known Joe cuts hair I would have sent Scott over there long ago.

Valentine's Day Sweetheart

On Valentine's Day I took a few pictures of Jackson in my parent's backyard. 

His shirt says it all.

Once I put him in the grass I couldn't get him to look up again.

He's a cutie!

Crawling

Jackson started crawling a few weeks ago and now he's always under foot. 

It's cute but sometimes a tripping hazard.

On the upside our floors are cleaner!

And then he lost his pants while crawling. He's long but not 

very round so pants are kinda tough to keep on.

Quick trip to Utah

We went to Utah last weekend for a quick trip to visit Scott's parents. 

Since we didn't make it out during the holidays we wanted to combine 

baby time with some skiing. It was a really nice weekend.

As much as we bundled up this baby he still got a cold!

Happy EIGHT months!

On Feb 5 Jackson was 8 months old and as wiggly as ever.

Luckily I have a PDF of these numbers but I think for the next baby 

I'll laminate so they can survive the 3 minutes I need to take some pictures.

Growing Up

This cute baby is getting more and more fun.

He had slobber down to his belly button at the store the other day. (Kinda disgusting.)

He no longer sits still in this chair.

It's easier to change his diaper if he's pinned down.

And he refuses to stay on the park blanket.

Afternoons at the park

Jackson and I spend a lot of afternoons at the park. He likes to play with toys and 

eat grass while I like to read.

I have to keep him seated or else he is always crawling to the 

grass and putting things in his mouth.

This is his preferred position: on the blanket but playing with the grass.

Sunday Afternoon Walk

 Last week we walked around Stanford's campus on Sunday afternoon. The weather was perfect, except for the fact that it's winter and should probably be raining.

The sun was a bit harsh for a nice picture.

But we tried anyway.

And then Jackson spit up.

Groundhog's Day

In honor of Scott's favorite holiday (and our only real tradition) we had Jackson watch Groundhog Day on Sunday. He was pretty happy to be sitting in front of the TV with all his toys.

He watched most of it but took some breaks to play.

1st Tooth

Seeing as how Jackson won't cooperate to let me take a picture of his first tooth 

I'll just post his first brushing of the tooth.

At first he wasn't a huge fan

but eventually Scott won. Now I think our bedtime routine is complete:

jammies, brush tooth, story, scriptures, prayer, song, SLEEP.
